The right rods for the job when long casting is the order of the day. With the most productive spots often a long way out, rods with a lot of casting strength are needed. Every metre counts. The same goes for international competitions. The Triumph Carp series meets these requirements with flying colours. The blank, of Japanese high-performance carbon, has enormous power in the spine; and the tip has sufficient damping properties to ensure the fish you’re playing with doesn’t easily get away. Casting tests up to now have achieved distances of up to 220 metres. The rods are fitted with SIC “K-Style” guides (butt guide size 50), a FUJI DPS reel seat and tough Duplon handles. A semi-transparent 1K mesh surface finish gives a superb appearance to the blank.
